Lenze drives have a high overload capacity of 150 % for 60 seconds or 200 % for 3 seconds. This allows high overload torques to be safely achieved for refrigeration compressors, e.g. during the start-up phase. As a result, Lenze allows you to choose a drive with a lower motor power, e.g., an 11 kW frequency drive instead of a 15 kW frequency drive. This saves money and installation space.

Whether scroll, piston, or screw compressors – Lenze offers the right solution with the i550 cabinet (IP20) or i550 protec (decentralized in IP66/55) with a selection of various fieldbuses, safety technology, or diagnostic options.

Circulation and auxiliary pumps

Frequency drive control is recommended for precise process control such as temperature provision (e.g., in battery temperature control) or for high system efficiency COP (coefficient of performance). In addition to the i550 cabinet (IP20) or i550 protec (IP66/IP55), the i550 motec is particularly suitable for motor mounting. Space-saving and easy to connect, it reduces installation costs and consumption by up to 45 kW and is optimized for consumption with a Lenze IE5 motor.

Ventilation technology

For condenser or evaporator units, the "fan packs" can also be operated with Lenze converters in selected applications. Wherever robustness, extreme temperature conditions, extended functionality, or easy replaceability are paramount, AC fans with frequency drives are preferred over EC fans.
